Cenaero provides companies engaged in a process of progress and technological innovation with methodologies and numerical simulation tools to design and produce high-performance products.

Internationally recognized, particularly through its research partnership with the Safran group, the center is active in the field of transport (aeronautics in particular), energy, industrial processes, buildings and software.

The team of more than 50 highly skilled researchers and PhD's has expertise in metal structures and processes (welding, machining, additive manufacturing) and composites, in-service behavior analysis of structures up to prediction of their life span, multiphysics fluid dynamics and multi-disciplinary optimization.

​

Cenaero operates the Walloon Tier-1 supercomputer (14,000 processors) for the benefits of basic, applied and industrial research. The center also operates a laboratory to manufacture and test composite material parts.
